Bill Hamilton has more than 30 years of experience in Washington public affairs and advocacy and has led campaigns for a wide range of nonprofit organizations, unions and progressive law firms and companies. He joined Fenton Communications in 1998, leading its new business development, working to train and develop promising new talent, and managing accounts for such clients as The Innocence Project, People for the American Way, the California Nurses Association, the Pew Charitable Trust and the leading class-action law firm Lerach Coughlin. Hamilton was public affairs director for AFSCME, the public employee union. He served as vice president for public affairs and headed the Washington, D.C. office of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Formerly a wire service correspondent in South America, Hamilton leads Fenton's Latin America practice. He came to Washington, D.C. to work as communications director for a United States senator.
