Kara Masi
Web Producer
Kara Masi has extensive experience producing Web sites for nonprofits, with a background in communications and public policy. Prior to joining Fenton, Masi headed up her own communications firm, managing a team of both design and technical consultants and overseeing the production of print and web projects for nonprofit organizations including Child Care Inc., Children of Promise NYC, the Brooklyn Arts Council, Black Child Development Institute, Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), and the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut. She has worked with clients on everything from mission statement development and branding to creating fully implemented content-managed Web sites and development campaigns.
Her background also includes policy work, with a concentration on education, housing and economic development. Prior to becoming a web consultant, she was the communications associate and lobbyist at the Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition, which represents nearly 80 children and family related nonprofit organizations throughout Connecticut.
