Alicia Gay
Senior Account Executive
Alicia Gay brings over seven years of experience in non-profit public relations, marketing and media outreach to Fenton Communications. Her clients include Partners in Health, Foundation for Child Development, The Tavis Smiley Show, and SodaStream.
Prior to joining Fenton Communications, Gay was an account supervisor at CRT/tanaka Public Relations where she was responsible for daily media relations, marketing activities, and strategic counsel related to crisis communications for the agency’s non-profit clients including the Girl Scouts of the USA and the Charles Schwab Foundation. While at CRT/t secured coverage for her clients in major national media outlets including the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Teen Vogue, FOX and U.S News and World Report.
Gay was also the affiliate marketing and communications associate for the American Civil Liberties Union where she managed its Youth Scholarship Program, doubling the number of applicants the program received in one year. She also oversaw marketing efforts for the organization’s membership conference, coordinating outreach activities directed at its membership base of 500,000. Gay began her PR career at McNeely Pigott & Fox, the largest independent PR agency in Tennessee. While at MP&F, she worked on multi-layered PR campaigns that included advertising, marketing, event planning and traditional media relations for a wide variety of clients including the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Job Corps, The Harpeth Hall School for Girls, the U.S. Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Service, Metro Nashville Public Works and the American Cancer Society.
