Fenton has named Jean-Louis Robadey West Coast Managing Director. Robadey, a veteran business strategist and communicator, will oversee client and staff services and drive new business.
Prior to joining Fenton, Robadey was Senior Vice President and practice lead with Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, where he successfully launched and grew a newly formed Social Innovation practice. As a result, Waggener Edstrom is now a recognized leader in the sector. Clients won by Waggener Edstrom during Robadey’s tenure include UNICEF, the United Nations Foundation, the Global Philanthropy Forum, and The International Trade Center, among others.
Before joining Waggener Edstrom, Robadey served as CEO of the Pact Institute, an organization focused on incubating and bringing to market innovative social programs. Previously, he served as VP of Strategic Management for Pact Inc., Pact Institute’s parent organization, where he focused on strategic planning, marketing communications and new business development.
“Jean-Louis’ tremendous knack for business strategy and development, paired with his passion for solving global challenges, make him a perfect fit for our leadership team,” said Fenton’s CEO David Fenton.
Robadey is succeeding Parker Blackman, who has served Fenton for twelve years in a number of key roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and West Coast Managing Director. Blackman will continue to work with Fenton during the transition and will stay on as a senior advisor.
“Throughout my twelve years at Fenton, I’ve worked with many world-changing people, clients and campaigns,” said Blackman. “Leading our talented team has been tremendously gratifying, and I am fully confident that Jean-Louis is the right person to take the helm.”
“Parker is an outstanding leader who has impressed me every day with his commitment to the public interest and the Fenton team. I look forward to working with him in his new advisory role,” said Fenton.
