Hello, I’m Roz, and I’m the author of Fenton Lab!
You may be asking: “What is this ‘Fenton Lab’?” or “Why are you wasting my time?” or “Where’s the cheese? We demand a blog about cheese.”
Well I’m sorry, but this isn’t a blog on cheese. For a blog on cheese, go here. Are you still with me? Great.
Fenton Lab is a bomb-of-a-blog bursting with brain-boggling brilliant digital things! The reason it has ‘Lab’ in its title is because the blog will be me researching digital news and trends, testing some tools out, and analyzing them… so, sort of a ‘Lab’. In short, the Fenton Lab blog will include the most interesting news about what’s happening and what’s set for the future in the wonderful web and digital world.
Why digital? Well, because digital is a big part of Fenton. We’re always talking about things we find across the digital landscape here in our office, so we thought we’d share it on our blog with you.
I haven’t properly introduced myself yet either. My name is Roz. Or as Starbucks writes on my coffee cup most mornings, Riz, Rose or Ross. You may have come across my ‘token English girl’ introduction blog post here, or at :48 here. I’m writing Fenton Lab with the hope for a few things:
- If you’re a “hey, I’m already a digital enthusiast. Don’t preach at me about digital stuff!” type of person, then I hope that instead of trawling through lots of websites, the Fenton Lab blog will pull together some of the best bits online into a short and sweet blog post for you to peruse.
- If you’re a “do they have internet on computers now?” type of person, then let me show you a whole new world!
- Or if you’re somewhere in between, with an interest in new and innovative ways to reach audiences, make connections, share information and communicate online, then Fenton Lab is for you!
