Fenton has named Beth Kitzinger managing director of its New York office. Kitzinger will oversee day-to-day client and staff services as well as the office’s new business strategy.
Prior to Fenton, Kitzinger was the senior vice president and chief of staff to the President at EuroRSCG Worldwide PR, driving agency performance and growth, new business acquisition, and agency marketing. Her responsibilities also included supervision of high-profile account projects and leadership of the Buzz Group, which helped clients create big splashy “wows” that quickly garnered traditional and social media momentum. The Buzz Group’s areas of expertise included CSR programs, community management, event production, media relations, mobile marketing, sampling, and celebrity seeding.
“Beth is an industry veteran with a knack for both big-picture strategy and day-to-day details. Her experience managing teams and creating corporate responsibility programs make her an ideal fit for our New York office and the firm as a whole,” said Fenton’s CEO David Fenton. “She’s a dynamic leader and we’re thrilled to have her aboard.”
Prior to joining Euro, Kitzinger developed and led strategic public relations programs for many of America’s top marketers in the consumer product and luxury goods categories at agencies including Kaplow, Patrice Tanaka & Co., Inc., M Booth & Associates, and Maizie Hale Public Relations (Atlanta). At Kaplow, Kitzinger created a motivating performance-management system, provided strategic direction for organizational planning and staffing, cross-functional team-building, leadership development and recruiting/retention. Throughout her career, Kitzinger has worked with category leaders including Mercedes-Benz, Mars Inc., Walnut Acres, eBay, Krups, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Godiva, Leapfrog, Chiquita, The Produce for Better Health Foundation, Charles Schwab, and Unilever.
