Victor Neufeld is an award-winning executive producer with a 25+-year career of success driving production for leading informational television broadcasts and news magazines such as “20/20,” Paula Zahn Tonight,” “The Early Show” and “World News Tonight.” Neufeld is recognized for building “20/20” into major broadcast institution for ABC on Friday nights. Neufeld is the winner of dozens of George Foster Peabody, Emmy, Christopher, and Gracie Awards. A veteran broadcast storyteller with the experience of telling hundreds of compelling stories to millions of television viewers, Neufeld started his career producing the iconic Metromedia 10 O’Clock News in New York, then becoming the youngest senior producer at ABC News. Working at ABC News for 30 years, Neufeld managed the editorial coverage of ABC News “World News Tonight,” then became the executive producer of 20/20.

He managed the editorial and production output of “20/20” for 18 years. During that time, the viewership of “20/20” rose 12 percent and the program received over 70 Emmy Awards and dozens of Dupont and Peabody Awards. Neufeld created the “20/20” spinoff, “20/20 Downtown” featuring Anderson Cooper, and also was the executive producer of the CBS News program, “The Early Show,” managing the editorial and production process of the daily morning program. In 2004, he became the senior executive producer of the CNN program, “Paula Zahn Tonight,” managing a 40 member staff of CNN broadcast journalists in producing a nightly live news broadcast dealing with the major issues of the day.

Since leaving CNN in 2006, Neufeld has working in non-scripted media production, creating content and project-managed television initiatives for Ogilvy Entertainment and AOL. He has trained dozens of journalists in broadcast skills and created content at ThomsonReuters and DowJones. He is an amateur jazz/cabaret singer. He performs in his regularly irregular “one man” shows in Manhattan, to loyal, sometimes skeptical, but always amazed and supportive friends and family. He also is a devoted Vespa owner, often seen hurtling through the streets in Manhattan, imagining he is in Rome.
