Michael Waxman has extensive public affairs and strategic communications experience, helping his clients successfully reach and influence elected officials, opinion leaders and other key stakeholders. His work has been recognized with the Silver Anvil and Thoth Awards by the Public Relations Society of America’s and the Nonprofit PR Award from PR News.
Beyond successfully placing clients in the media, Waxman has appeared as a spokesperson for his clients on CNBC, C-SPAN and Fox Business News and has been quoted by outlets such as the Associated Press, Bloomberg, the New York Times and National Journal.
Prior to Fenton, Waxman’s experience includes serving as an elected member of the Los Angeles Community College Board of Trustees. He has also worked for several strategic communications firms, cable operators and the California Coordinated Campaign to elect Clinton / Gore in 1996.
A graduate of Brandeis University, Waxman lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two kids.
