Mandy Sugrue

Mandy Sugrue brings over five years of marketing, public relations, and social media experience for non-profits. Her background also includes working with political campaigns and focuses on women’s issues, LGBT rights, and the environment. Sugrue moved here from Vermont after wrapping up work as a field director on a gubernatorial campaign. While working on the campaign, she coordinated the Get Out the Vote program, organized fundraising and outreach events, and managed all volunteer recruitment.
After graduating with a degree in public communications from the University of Vermont, Sugure worked at Lund Family Center, a non-profit, providing rehabilitation services for pregnant and parenting teens with substance or mental abuse issues. During her time there, she was involved in the planning and executing all agency events and fundraising efforts as well as managing the social media program and online campaigns. Sugrue was born in Peru, and lived in Guatemala before moving to the States.
