Lauren Hodapp brings a background in media relations and strategic messaging to Fenton where she works with a variety of clients in the environmental, political, and healthcare practices.
Prior to joining Fenton, Hodapp worked for several years as a book publicist at various trade publishing houses in New York for six years, developing and executing publicity plans for fiction and non-fiction titles. Most recently at The Penguin Press she spearheaded the publicity launches for Eli Pariser’s bestseller The Filter Bubble and Paul Greenberg’s award-winning bestseller Four Fish, among others. Prior to that, she was part of the launch teams for Nobel Peace Prize Award-Winner Wangari Maathai’s memoir Unbowed and Stonyfield Farm CE-Yo Gary Hirschberg’s Stirring it Up. In addition to working closely with prominent writers and members of the media across all formats, Hodapp has helped guide social media strategies for both authors and publishers.
Hodapp graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in English. She now lives in Arlington, VA, and enjoys reading, running, and yoga.
