Kelly Osmundson

Kelly Osmundson joined Fenton with a background in labor organizing, political engagement and community building. She works with clients such as The California Endowment, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and First 5 LA’s Best Start program.
As a worksite organizer at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1021, Osmundson led union members in building and framing campaigns for workplace fairness and equality. During her time as a field organizer at the University of California Student Association, Osmundson helped coordinate the largest statewide, nonpartisan youth voter engagement campaign, resulting in registering more than 55,000 U.C. students to vote in the 2008 presidential primary and general election. Osmundson also strategized messaging and tactics for statewide campaigns on student fee legislation, the California DREAM Act and Graduate Student Health Insurance Plans (GSHIP).
Osmundson holds a B.A. in history and peace and conflict studies from the University of California, Berkeley. When she is not fighting the good fight, Osmundson enjoys reading graphic novels, traveling and attempting to garden.
