Kasia Reterska

Kasia Reterska is a vice president with the New York office of Fenton, the nation’s leading public interest communications firm, where she focuses on corporate responsibility and stakeholder engagement programs for the firm’s clientele. Recent clients include: Avon, Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, BSR, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Enerkem, General Mills, Stonyfield Farms, and United Nations Development Programme.

With more than 10 years experience in communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement, Reterska specializes in corporate social responsibility, crisis communication, human rights, private-public partnerships, issues advocacy, and nonprofit management. From Moscow to Los Angeles and Bogotá to Cape Town and São Paulo, Reterska has managed multinational campaigns across five continents and has held in-country posts in remote parts of East Africa and Latin America.

Prior to Fenton, Reterska was an account supervisor for Edelman’s corporate social responsibility practice for clients including the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Novartis AG, Samsung, Save the Children and Women’s World Banking. Reterska was formerly press relations officer at International Center for Transitional Justice, the director of report writing at the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment (CASES) and a research assistant at the World Policy Institute. She has a master’s degree in international affairs and media studies from New School University and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Polish—her native tongue.
