Kaitlin Swarts
Administrative Assistant
Kaitlin Swarts joins Fenton with a background in international development, community organizing, and development politics. Previously, Swarts worked with Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA), a Berkeley-based non-profit that partners with grassroots women to promote local solutions to land, water, food, and climate change issues. It was at WEA, where she developed and managed their social media outreach strategy, that Swarts realized her passion for developing effective communications campaigns.
A native of Austin, Texas, Swarts has lived throughout Central and South America. Prior to moving to California, Swarts was living in Peru, where she worked with two local nonprofits on environmental conservation, microfinance, and sustainable development projects. She holds a B.A. in politics from Pomona College and also studied at La Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When she’s not busy assisting the Operations Team at Fenton, Swarts can be found exploring the bay area, playing soccer, or defending the integrity of Texas (read: Austin) to her new friends.
