Iavor Ivanov’s 12-year career in the field of online engagement has been defined entirely by one goal: to advance the common good.
Ivanov leads Fenton’s Washington, D.C. digital practice. His focus is on engaging constituents online around social causes. He helps clients reach their goals by designing integrated engagement campaigns, through digital PR, digital research, online grassroots advocacy, awareness building, fundraising and reputation management.
Prior to joining Fenton, Ivanov led the digital division at United Way Worldwide, the world’s largest private charity. In that capacity, Ivanov was responsible for devising and executing multiple online engagement campaigns, including the launch of the engagement super portal liveunited.org — the destination for one of the largest donated media public service campaigns in history ($120 Million in donated media to date).
Ivanov was born and raised in Bulgaria where he attended university before permanently moving to the U.S.. He lives in Washington, D.C. and is very involved in the local community. Ivanov is a passionate advocate and a fundraiser for equal human and civil rights, and serves on the campaign board of the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund.
