Giovanna Frank-Vitale

Giovanna Frank-Vitale, a member of Fenton’s health team, brings a background in nonprofit communications and political campaigns to the firm. Her clients include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Phoenix House, the nation’s leading provider of alcohol and drug abuse treatment and prevention services. She helps cause-driven organizations tell their stories through communications materials, media outreach, and events, among other promotions.
Prior to joining Fenton, she was a junior associate at Burness Communications, a Washington, D.C.-area public relations firm whose clients are nonprofits in the health arena. During her two years at Burness, Frank-Vitale helped launch the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s County Health Rankings, a first-of-its-kind report that ranks the health of every U.S. county, and handled communications for a national W.K. Kellogg Foundation effort to expand access to dental care in underserved communities.
In 2008, Giovanna was a regional volunteer coordinator on the Barack Obama presidential campaign in Ohio. She also spent two years as a promotions assistant in Emerson College’s film department and was a communications intern at a Pennsylvania community foundation. Frank-Vitale is a Pennsylvania native and received her bachelor’s degree in marketing communications from Emerson College in Boston.
