Cheryl Damian

Cheryl Damian has more than 15 years of communications experience, developed in both the private and public sectors. She has worked with corporations, government agencies and NGOs to drive social change through corporate responsibility, cause marketing and behavior change communications.

At Fenton, Damian serves as the strategic lead for her clients. She works with her teams to identify relevant issues and prioritize stakeholders for communications platforms focused on social change. Specific areas of expertise include the development of positioning, messaging, integrated marketing communications and public-private partnerships to activate key stakeholders on the key issues that face society.

Prior to Fenton, Damian led global corporate responsibility and cause marketing campaigns at Cone. Her clients included CVS/Caremark, National Wildlife Federation, Pfizer, and The Walt Disney Company. Damian also worked in Washington, DC, for a communications firm that specialized in behavior change and public health communications. She led the development of public outreach campaigns for clients that included the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid, National Institutes for Health, U.S. Department of Education, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Damian began her career in consumer advertising and ran a market research consultancy. She graduated from Boston University with  B.A. in English literature and a B.S. in communications.
